EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Northgate Christian Church is hosting its first-ever Health and Wellness Fair on Saturday, July 26.
The event will from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the church, 5430 Yvette Ave. in Northeast El Paso.
The event will take place in the church’s Community Hall and Sanctuary.
The event is free and will feature more than 30 health care vendors with a variety of free health screenings. Albertsons pharmacy will provide Covid and pneumonia vaccinations.
The opening ceremonies will take place on 10 a.m. in the main Community Hall when Rev. Robert Franz, the senior pastor of Northgate Christian Church, will provide an opening prayer and remarks to bless and commemorate event.
In addition, the members of the church and its ministries will sell hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, and healthy snacks all day long.
Additionally, Vitalant Blood Services will have their Bloodmobile available for blood donations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
The Casa Noble Insurance Group will provide classes on changes and updates to the Medicare and Medicaid programs.
