EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Fall will be here sooner than expected, and this lineup of festivals will bring art, culture, entertainment, and more to the Sun City.
From creative street art to cultural celebrations and winter wonderlands, the City of El Paso said these family-friendly events are free or low-cost and open to the public.
The fall festival season will include the following, according to the city:
Chalk the Block



- October 11–12 | Downtown Arts District
- Now in its 18th year, Chalk the Block is the region’s largest public arts festival. The event draws over 45,000 visitors and nearly 200 artists to Downtown for a weekend filled with vibrant chalk art, installations, live performances, and hands-on fun for all ages.
TeenTober Fest



- October 18 | Judge Marquez Library – 610 N Yarbrough
- Hosted by the El Paso Public Libraries, TeenTober Fest celebrates teens and teen services with a day of music, games, food trucks, and resource booths. The free event empowers teens by connecting them with local organizations and helping them explore their talents and interests.
Día de los Muertos Festival


- November 1 | Downtown Arts District and Mexican American Cultural Center (MACC)
- Centered at the newly opened MACC, this beloved celebration of life honors tradition through community altars, live performances, art, food, and a parade. The Día de los Muertos Festival is a signature event that brings families together to reflect and rejoice in rich cultural heritage.
WinterFest 2025



- November 22 | Downtown El Paso (Runs through January 5, 2026)
- Celebrating 10 years, WinterFest transforms Downtown into a holiday wonderland. With festive lights, the City’s only light parade, an outdoor ice rink, shopping, food, and entertainment, WinterFest is the largest event of its kind in the Southwest, drawing thousands of visitors throughout the six-week season.
