Texas booksFor decades, Texas Monthly has partnered with Texas Book Festival, the state’s premier literary event, serving as a media sponsor and regularly participating in the festival’s programming. Now we’re joining forces again with the creation of the Texas Book Club. The virtual book club will explore the powerful thread that Texas writers and characters have woven through American literature, and the role that the state’s contemporary authors, political landscape, and diverse culture play in the canon today. Members will receive curated book selections, thoughtful discussion prompts, fun polls and quizzes, and insight and commentary from both Texas Monthly and Texas Book Festival staff.
