EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — An 18-year-old woman was recently arrested for allegedly following and harassing a man while driving and intentionally striking his vehicle multiple times, and attempting to hit him as he exited his vehicle last month in Horizon City.
The Horizon City Police Department made the announcement on Thursday, Aug. 7, in a news release.

On Aug. 1, Ximena Garcia-Baca, 18, voluntarily surrendered to police, and she was taken into custody without incident. She was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon with a $75,000 bond, according to police.
Shortly before midnight on March 14, officers responded to a reported motor vehicle crash in the 13000 block of Horizon Boulevard.
The investigation revealed that the victim reported being followed and harassed by Garcia-Baca while driving, according to police.
Witness and video footage confirmed that Garcia-Baca used her vehicle to intentionally strike the victim’s vehicle multiple times and attempted to hit the victim as he exited his vehicle, according to police.
Police said Garcia-Baca fled the scene before officers arrived. Based on the investigation and witness statements, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Garcia-Baca.
“We thank the community members who came forward with the information, which was vital to this investigation,” read the news release by police.
