EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso Police Department and Crime Stoppers of El Paso are asking for the community’s help in identifying three teens who robbed another teen at gunpoint back in July in East El Paso.
This is this week’s “Crime of the Week,” as publicized by Crime Stoppers.
According to Crime Stoppers, at roughly 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, the teen victim was riding an “Onewheel” skateboard in the Las Palmas gated community, along the 11600 block of Montana Ave.
The victim passed the three suspects at the Turner Road entrance and words were exchanged, Crime Stoppers said.
Then, the suspects chased the victim to the intersection of Red Palm Place and Jamaican Palm, where one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and demanded the victim’s skateboard and shoes, Crime Stoppers said.
According to Crime Stoppers, the suspects were captured on security video at the gated community before the robbery.

From the security video provided by Crime Stoppers, it appears that the suspects are all teenage boys.
The suspect with the gun is described as a Hispanic, 17 to 18 years old, has a medium complexion and average height and weight, Crime Stoppers said.

The other two suspects are described as Hispanic, between 15 to 17 years old and appear to have “Edgar-style” haircuts, Crime Stoppers said.

Anyone with any information on the identity of these violent teens should call Crime Stoppers of El Paso immediately at (915) 566-8477(TIPS) or online at www.cselpaso.org. You will remain anonymous, and if your tip leads to an arrest, you may qualify for a cash reward.
