EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A man was stabbed multiple times early Sunday morning, Aug. 10 at Red Sands and was taken to the hospital for his injuries, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office said.
At about 2 a.m. on Sunday, deputies were sent out to a reported stabbing incident at Red Sands, a popular off-road recreational area in far East El Paso.
When they arrived, deputies found a 31-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Deputies scecured the scene and gave the victim life-saving first aid, the Sheriff’s Office said.
The victim was then taken to a local hospital for more treatment.
The suspect remains unidentified and fled the scene before deputies arrived.
The Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit (MCU) and Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) personnel responded to assist with the ongoing investigation.
