TONIGHT: The skies will be partly cloudy with scattered evening t-showers. These storms will form in a random, hit-or-miss pattern and produce brief, heavy rainfall. The winds will be light and variable at 5-10 mph, excluding near area storms, where occasional gusts will pop up. The storms will settle down overnight, and the low will drop to 73.
FORECAST: KTSM has issued a Weather Authority Alert for Tuesday due to the potential for strong storms and a heavy rain threat. Tuesday’s high will be 96, and the scattered showers and t-showers will form in the afternoon and evening. Some storms have the potential to produce very heavy rain quickly, so please do not drive into flooded roadways. The SE winds will range from 5-15 mph. Wednesday will be partly cloudy with isolated area t-storms and a high of 95. Thursday will be partly cloudy and 95 with scattered late day t-showers.
