EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — One person was airlifted with a gunshot wound on Thursday afternoon, Aug. 11, in Northwest El Paso, according to the El Paso Fire Department.
According to El Paso Fire, the call came in shortly after 4 p.m., near the intersection of Enchanted Springs and Bluff Creek. The neighborhood is close to the Hospitals of Providence Transmountain Campus.
El Paso Fire said one person was airlifted via FireStar with a gunshot wound to a local hospital.
Additionally, the wound appears not to be life-threatening, El Paso Fire said.
