EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Camino Real Regional Utility Authority said it received six customer calls in July for discolored water.
Every month, CRRUA provides a voluntary monthly report about discolored water calls.

The utility received three calls for this issue in June, 1 each in May and April and four in March.
Discolored water calls include brown or yellow water.
Causes include waterline breaks, water wells returning to service and hydrant flushes that disturb naturally occurring sediments that accumulate in the distribution system over time, and issues within the dwelling associated with water heaters, water softeners and water filtration systems, the utility said.
