EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Happy Sunday, Borderland. A slightly less cloudy day will close out the weekend with storm chances still on the radar into early this week.
Sunday night will be mostly cloudy skies with a low near 74. Showers and thunderstorm chances are likely between 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. Winds will be light, blowing 5-10 mph from the south.
For Monday, a high near 75 with increasing cloud cover throughout the day. Storm chances are present mainly in the early evening hours with light and variable winds around 5-10 mph. At night, there will be more showers and storm chances with mostly cloudy skies and a low near 75. We will see light and variable winds overnight.
Similar conditions are forecasted for Tuesday, both condition- and temperature-wise.
Come Wednesday, slight shower and storm chances continue in the afternoon. Mostly sunny skies will be present with east winds 5-10 mph along with a high near 96. Overnight, we will have partly cloudy skies with a low near 74 and light winds.
Thursday forward, El Paso begins to dry out with above-average highs in the mid- to upper 90s and sunny skies going through the weekend. Overnight lows will mainly be in the lower to mid-70s.
