EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Nominations are now open for the 2025 Veteran of the Year.
In partnership with the Veterans Advisory Board (VAB), the El Paso County is inviting residents to help them recognize an outstanding veteran who continues to lead, inspire, and serve others beyond their military duty.
Nominations will be accepted through September 30.
Nominees must meet the following criteria, according to the County:
- Be a current resident of El Paso County
- Have honorably served in the U.S. Armed Forces
The 2025 Veteran of the Year will be formally recognized in November and honored with a tribute on the Veterans Wall of Honor located at the El Paso County Courthouse.
