KTSM News – Sunland Park to see discolored water amid hydrant flushing

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Sunland Park residents may experience discolored water on Thursday, Aug. 21, as the Sunland Park Fire Department conducts hydrant flushes/testing.

The Camino Real Regional Utility Authority (CRRUA) made the announcement on Thursday in a news release.

The map of the affected areas is as follows:

CRRUA recommends residents wait for the water to become clear before washing laundry. The discoloration should disappear within 24 hours; if it doesn’t, residents are asked to flush cold-water faucets for several minutes.
