EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A global fashion favorite is coming to El Paso in September, offering quality at value prices.
Primark will have its grand opening at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 4, at Cielo Vista Mall. This marks the second opening in the state after the store opened in McAllen, Texas, last December, according to the store in a news release.
The store, which spans over 40,000 square feet, will bring El Paso shoppers “an exciting selection of on-trend fashion, everyday essentials, stylish accessories, and beauty favorites, all at Primark’s famously low prices.”
“We launched our Texas presence with the opening of our McAllen store in December 2024, and the response confirmed what we believed. There’s a strong appetite for Primark’s unique mix of style and value in the Southern US,” said Kevin Tulip, president of Primark US. “We’re ready and eager to continue to expand across Texas, connecting even more families and fashion lovers with the ‘Primania’ experience.”
In addition, Primark’s Talent Acquisition team is searching for employees to fill full- and part-time roles.
All available roles can be viewed and applied for on the Primark Careers Site, and successful applicants can look forward to a competitive salary, with sales associate base pay starting at $15.00 an hour and $0.50 per hour increases at 6 months and 12 months of continued employment, according to the store.
As part of the grand opening, shoppers can enjoy live music from a local DJ, giveaways, and delicious treats for early arrivals.
