EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso pianist and composer Daniel Villasenor will peform his original classical-style compositions in a concert next month.
The show will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13 at The Sunset Parlor, 1307 N. Oregon St.
“My musical influences range from Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Liszt, along with other film composers such as Danny Elfman and James Horner. It will be an evening filled with music inspired by dreams of time travel to the Romantic Era, mountains and forest imagery, and life itself,” according to a brief biography sent in a news release.
Villasenor has played piano since he was 3 years old.
He played in ska band Fixed Idea from 2010 to 2018. For the past five years, he has performed with cumbia band Frontera Bugalu.
