EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — One person is dead after a crash involving a motorcycle early Sunday morning, Aug. 24 in Northeast El Paso, El Paso Police said.
Police said the crash happened at 6800 Railroad Drive. That is near the Underwood Golf Complex.
The Texas Department of Transportation reports that Spur 601 West on-ramp at Airport is closed because of the crash.
Police sent out a notification to media about the crash at 5 a.m. but didn’t say when the crash happened.
Details are limited, but police did call it a “single-vehicle motorcycle crash.” They did not say what led up to the crash.
The Special Traffic Investigations Unit has responded to the scene. STI typically responds to crashes involving fatalities or serious injuries.
