Posted on August 30, 2025

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Pinehurst Drive area in Santa Teresa will experience a water outage while crews from the Camino Real Regional Utility Authority repair a waterline break, the utility reported late Friday night, Aug. 29.

The area of Pinehurst Drive between McNutt Road and Country Club Road will expereince a water service interruption during the repairs.

There is no time estimate on the duration of the outage.

Once water service is restored, customers may notice discoloration due to naturally occurring minerals in the distribution system. CRRUA recommends waiting for the water to become clear before washing laundry.

The discoloration should disappear within 24 hours. If it does not, customers should run cold water for several minutes.
