EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Slow-moving trains are impacting traffic in the area of Horizon Boulevard south of Interstate 10, according to the City of Socorro.
Railroad crossings throughout the Horizon area are experiencing delays because of issues with trains. Union Pacific is on scene investigating, the City of Socorro said.
The main issue is the railroad crossing along Horizon but several other crossings are impacted.
Officers are on-site managing traffic, but drivers should expect significant delays until further notice, the City of Socorro said.
Motorists are urged to use caution and find alternate routes.
