EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Happy Friday night lights, Borderland! You’ll want to bring an umbrella with you if you’re heading out to any games Friday evening because showers and storm chances are in the forecast.
The skies will be mostly cloudy with a low in the upper 60s. Winds will be around 10-15 mph with evening shower chances beginning around 6 p.m. with storms potentially forming overnight.
Storm chances remain through Saturday with showers and storms possible around 2 p.m. With these storms come the chance to see isolated severe hail and wind gusts. The high will be in the low 90s with winds around 5-10 mph. Overnight lows will be in the upper 60s with light winds and the chances for storms are still on the board.
For Sunday, moisture sticks around but storm chances are slight. The sky will be mostly cloudy with a high of around 91. The wind will be light.
Heavy rain is possible for Monday with atmospheric instability ticking up again. Showers and thunderstorms are possible after noon with calm winds. The high will be around 88.
For Tuesday, storm chances continue but are not as strong as Monday. The high will be near 86.
A brief break from rain chances comes on Wednesday with a high in the upper 80s.
Isolated storm chances return Thursday with a warmer high in the low 90s.
Friday forward, conditions stabilize with highs in the upper 80s lower 90s range and mostly sunny skies.
