EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso County Elections Department will be visiting college and university campuses on Tuesday, Sept. 16 to get students registered to vote as part of National Voter Registration Day.
The Elections Department will will be holding engagement events from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the following locations:
• El Paso County Elections Department, 500 E. San Antonio Ave., Suite 314
• El Paso Community College-Rio Grande Campus, Cafeteria, 100 W. Rio Grande Ave.
• El Paso Community College-Valle Verde Campus, AST Foyer, 919 Hunter Dr.
• The University of Texas at El Paso, Leech Grove, 500 W. University Ave.
• Western Technical College-Diana Campus, Foyer, 9451 Diana Dr.
• Western Technical College-Plaza Campus, Foyer, 9624 Plaza Circle
A coalition of thousands of partners across the country will be doing similar events to get people registered to vote in November and in the March 2026 primary.
“Every eligible voter should have the option to exercise their right to be heard. National Voter Registration Day is the perfect day to start by getting registered to vote. Across all 50 states, counties and organizations are working together to engage communities and help voters get registered,” the El Paso County Elections Department said.
