EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A student was recently recognized by the San Elizario Independent School District’s Board of Trustees for his “heroic response during an emergency.”
The recognition of Dylan Vazquez, which took place on Tuesday, Sept. 16, was presented by Messina Holguin, the district lead nurse.
“Thank you, Dylan, for your courage and quick action that kept our students safe!” read a post on social media by San Elizario ISD.
