KTSM News – Doña Ana Fire Rescue crews extinguished vehicle fires in Chaparral

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Firefighters with the Doña Ana Fire Rescue extinguished two vehicles that caught on fire on Friday, Sept. 19, in Chaparral.

Shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Friday, crews were dispatched to the 2600 block of Capital Drive for a residential structure fire.

When firefighters arrived, they found two vehicles fully engulfed in flames and no structure was involved, according to Doña Ana Fire Rescue.

Crews quickly extinguished the fire and stayed to monitor for hotspots.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation, according to Doña Ana Fire Rescue.
