EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso Police Department and Crime Stoppers of El Paso are asking for your help in identifying a man who threatened a woman with a gun earlier this month in East El Paso.
This is this week’s Crime of the Week as publicized by Crime Stoppers.
At 3 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 3, a woman outside a Lone Star Laundry, located at 10968 Montwood, was approached by a man.
The man shined a flashlight at her face and told the woman to leave. He then pulled out a handgun and threatened the woman, according to Crime Stoppers.
A witness reported seeing a couple fight and hearing gunshots, Crime Stoppers said. Responding officers found the victim, who was not hurt in the incident.
Additionally, investigators found security cameras that captured the images of the suspect.
Crime Stoppers describe the suspect as a white male in his 60s, 5-foot-7-inches in height and has gray hair that is balding on top.
