EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — As the federal government shutdown is now in effect, El Paso Electric is supporting customers who are federal employees and may be facing financial uncertainty.
“At El Paso Electric, we know unexpected challenges can impact the families we serve,” Robert Heimer, director of Customer Care at EPE, said. “We are committed to working with customers affected by the shutdown to provide payment flexibility and connect them with programs that can help ease financial stress.”
The utility offers a variety of programs and resources designed to help customers keep their power on and manage bills during difficult times, according to a news release.
