EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso Fire Department will host its fourth annual Fire Fest on Saturday, Oct. 11.
This year’s theme is “The Fire Service Ignites the Arts.”
The event will be held from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11 at Veterans Park, 5301 Salem Dr.
The event is free and designed to give a fresh look at the men and women who serve and protect El Paso, the El Paso Fire Department said.
The festival will feature music and booths hosted by local partners and artisans, according to a news release sent out by the City of El Paso.
Other highlights include: local food trucks, a Farmers Market, a Vitalant blood drive, a charity auction, and free flu vaccines.
Both City and County fire crews will do live demonstrations of what they do.
Fire Fest will also feature an official ribbon-cutting of the EPFD Fire STAR helicopter.
