KTSM News – Las Cruces Police back fight against breast cancer with special decals

Posted on October 6, 2025

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — In recognition and support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Las Cruces Police Department is giving away a limited number of window decals to those who wish to back the cause.

The window decals are intended to show LCPD’s support for survivors, bring attention to the fight against breast cancer and support researchers who are working to find a cure for the disease, Las Cruces Police said.

The American Cancer Society estimates that more than 315,000 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in 2025 in the United States. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The window decals are available at the Front Station Office of the Las Cruces Police Department, 217 E. Picacho Ave. The Front Station Office is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to noon on Friday.

The Las Cruces Police Department has a limited number of Breast Cancer Awareness window decals that are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
