EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — One of the Borderland’s largest and most well-known Christmas markets is returning for another year.
The Junior League of El Paso (JLEP) announced that its annual holiday tradition, A Christmas Fair, will be held Oct. 31 through Nov. 2, at the El Paso Convention Center.
This year’s theme is “An Enchanted Christmas.”
“For decades, A Christmas Fair has served as a cornerstone of the El Paso holiday season, offering a unique shopping experience while raising critical funds to support JLEP’s mission-driven community programs,” the Junior League said.
Proceeds generated from ticket sales, merchant booth rentals, and sponsorships directly benefit impactful initiatives that empower women and improve the El Paso community, the organization said.
For the second year, proceeds will support Girls on the Run International, empowering young girls to build confidence and healthy habits.
The Christmas Fair also supports the third year of the JLEP Wellness Collaborative, which promotes mental and physical wellness in partnership with community organizations
“For 52 years, A Christmas Fair has been a cherished El Paso tradition, and we are thrilled to invite the community into the magic of ‘An Enchanted Christmas,’ ” said Amy Field, president of the Junior League of El Paso. “This event is so much more than a holiday market; it’s a beautiful demonstration of our mission in action. Every ticket and gift purchased is a direct investment back into El Paso, fueling the vital programs that support the people of our community.”
General admission tickets cost $15 in advance and $16 at the door. Discounted tickets are available for children 6 to 12, seniors, military and college students for $14 in advance and $15 at door. Kids 5 and under are free.
The enchantment begins Thursday evening, Oct. 30, with an exclusive VIP preview shopping event and continues all weekend with numerous family-friendly activities, including plenty of special moments with Santa himself.
