Posted on October 19, 2025

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Casa Ortiz in Socorro hosts monthly markets each with a different theme.

For October, Casa Ortiz, 10167 Socorro Road, will have its first-ever Tim Burton-inspired Nightmare Market to celebrate Halloween a bit early.

Admission is free and the event will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25 at Casa Ortiz.

“This free, family- and dog-friendly market brings the community together for a night of creativity, food, and Halloween spirit — all inspired by the imagination of Tim Burton,” organizers said.

The event will feature local vendors and food trucks, a new beer release from Three Missions Brewerey, Lena Firecrafted Kitchen with its 16-foot smoker, a lowrider and classic car show, dog adoptions, karaoke and live entertainment, among other activities.
