EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A man was arrested earlier this week for having child pornography, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPCSO) said in a news release.
Shortly after 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26, deputies were dispatched to the El Paso Transitional Center,1650 Horizon Blvd., about a resident found to have child pornography, EPCSO said.
EPCSO said deputies met with the reporting party and a witness, who said they discovered child pornography on 39-year-old Ricardo Quintanar’s cellphone while conducting a routine parole check.
Deputies then arrested Quintanar, who was subsequently booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on a parole violation with no bond.
