EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Officer Jacob Arellano Foundation is inviting the community to the 3rd annual Memorial Golf Classic 2025 this Friday, Nov. 7, at the Horizon Golf Course.
The Foundation will be hosting the tournament, and registration starts at 7 a.m. Shotgun starts at 8 a.m. The tournament will be held at the Horizon Golf Course at 16000 Ashford St.
As KTSM 9 News previously reported, Arellano was killed in a wrong-way crash by a suspected drunk driver in October 2022 in Dallas, Texas.
Arellano was an El Paso native and graduated in 2016 from Socorro High School, where he played football, which continued into his college years at NMSU. After playing for about two years at NMSU, he then went to pursue a career in law enforcement.
