EL PASO, Texas – (KTSM) Get ready, Borderland! KTSM 9 News is excited to announce the return of our annual Weather Fest and The More You Know Expo, presented by FirstLight Federal Credit Union, happening Saturday, November 8, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Outlet Shoppes at El Paso. The event is free and open to the public.
This family-friendly event brings together students, Science and fun! Weather Fest gives students the chance to show off their creativity and scientific skills in a lively, hands-on atmosphere.
Participants from El Paso and Gadsden independent school districts will go head-to-head this year, competing for the coveted Ultimate Weather Warrior Award.
In addition to the student competition, guests can visit dozens of stores and local vendors, enjoy live entertainment on the Speaking Rock stage, and take part in The More You Know Expo.
There’s also something for the whole family, with a Family Fun Zone sponsored by El Paso Children’s Hospital.
The fun doesn’t stop there! The Outlet Shoppes will kick off the holiday season the day before with their Grand Tree Lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. on Friday, November 7, at the Center Court. The free event will feature Santa and friends, live entertainment, and festive holiday cheer to g et everyone in the spirit.
