The conundrum is one that executive writer Michael Hall knows personally, as his father, who served as a doctor in the war, struggled to have the U.S. military correct a record with his own name. In exploring his father’s story, Hall met two brothers in Dallas, Hal and Ted Barker, who have been on a four-decade-long mission to correct history.
