El Paso Taxpayer Revolt – HATE ON DISPLAY IN DOWNTOWN

Posted on December 17, 2023

As we reported yesterday, the groups El Paso for Palestine and Students for Socialism-NMSU protested against Israel in San Jacinto Plaza today. The crowd peaked at around 75 people, which was a much smaller group than the one that participated in the protest of October 21.

Although this time there were no green armbands or scarves signifying solidarity with Hamas, the rhetoric was just as poisonous as before, with chants of “Long live the intifada!” and “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!” (see the video below).

If you ask the protestors, they will tell you that anti-Zionism is not anti-Semitism and that they have nothing against Jews, yet they openly call for destroying Israel and murdering Jews.

The First Amendment to the United States Constitution, ratified in 1791, guarantees the right of these people to advocate for “resistance” against the “Zionist entity,” and we absolutely support that right.

However, we have the right to film their disgusting Jew-hating propaganda and show all of El Paso what they are.
