Border Report – 16 migrants found in ‘deplorable conditions’ in South Texas stash house

McALLEN, Texas (Border Report) — Border Patrol agents in Laredo found 16 undocumented migrants living in a stash house, the agency said.

Border Patrol and Texas Department of Public Safety troopers raided a home on Friday in the South Texas border town after receiving a tip.

Inside, agents said they found 16 migrants “being harbored in deplorable conditions,” U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials said.

All of the migrants were from Guatemala and have been processed according to their individual immigration status, the agency said.
