U.S. Border Patrol agents rescued 31 migrants who were discovered inside a modified utility truck in the dangerous desert heat near Ocotillo, California. The vehicle’s driver reportedly fled across the border into Mexico, where he was subsequently apprehended by Mexican law enforcement. All individuals found in the vehicle were taken into custody by the El Centro Border Patrol sector.
