HARLINGEN, Texas (Border Report) – A number of restaurants in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas have seen a significant impact following a number of federal immigration raids.
Restaurant owners say some of their workers were arrested because they were in the United States illegally, but they say other workers failed to return to work for fear of being detained and deported.
