EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — One person was taken to a local hospital Sunday morning, March 9, with non-life-threatening injuries after falling off from the border fence in South El Paso, a spokesperson with the El Paso Fire Department said.
The call came in minutes before 10 a.m. on March 9 at the intersection of Santa Fe Street and Calleros Court.
The spokesperson said a male subject fell from the fence, calling the fall “accidental.” The spokesperson only identified the person as a male with no age given.
The male subject was then transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the spokesperson said.
