MISSION, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The funeral for Border Patrol Agent Alejandro De Luna was held Tuesday in Mission.
The funeral Mass was at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission, followed by the burial at the Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
Agent De Luna, 40, was killed in a vehicle rollover while on his way to work on April 8.
According to his LinkedIn account, he graduated from Mission High School in 2003. He was a member of the U.S. Army from August 2010 until November 2014. He was a platoon sergeant who was responsible for a 36-man Mechanized Infantry Platoon.
