Lance Cpl. Armando Ortiz Canseco, a 21-year-old Marine from Minnesota, has been identified as the Marine who went missing during a training exercise off the coast of Southern California. Extensive search and rescue efforts were conducted by the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard, and U.S. Air Force, but Ortiz Canseco was declared dead on Saturday.
