EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Another victim who was shot Wednesday, Sept. 24, in Central El Paso has died, according to the woman’s family.
Marco Ruiz, who identified himself as the victim’s uncle, told KTSM that Victoria Whitman died.
“My niece was absolutely the sweetest young lady. We are going to miss her so much. She was so beautiful. We ask the public to respect my family and are welcoming all condolences.”

Ruiz described his niece as an “innocent victim.”
As we previously reported, four people; two men and two women, were in critical condition after being shot in the 1000 block of Raynor Street.
Mia Molina, a former model and Top Model USA, was identified Wednesday evening in an El Paso Fashion Week Facebook post as the other woman who was shot. The post alleges that Molina was involved in a shooting on Wednesday.
In a Facebook post showing photographs of Molina, Ruiz commented, ” I know you [Molina] were with my niece that left with you. Thank you for holding her hand to heaven together Angel.

As of Thursday afternoon, El Paso police have yet to provide an update into their investigation.
El Paso police spokesman Adrian Cisneros told reporters on Wednesday during the briefing at the crime scene that they did not have a person in custody.
KTSM crews on the scene saw vehicles that had bullet holes. Cisneros said two vehicles at the scene are believed to be involved in the shooting.
