MCALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The McAllen Police Department has released the identity of the U.S. Border Patrol agent who was killed in a vehicle rollover Tuesday afternoon.
According to the department’s news release, at around 1:57 p.m., officers responded to the 3200 block of South Ware Road in McAllen regarding a collision involving a GMC pickup and a Chevrolet Tahoe.
The driver of the Tahoe was identified as 40-year-old Alejandro De Luna from Mission.
He was taken to an area hospital, where they reported his death to police.
The multiple occupants of the GMC pickup reported non-life-threatening injuries and were transported for medical treatment.
McAllen Police are investigating this crash.
