The incident occurred Wednesday on the north side of Laredo.

FBI and Laredo police also responded to the scene.

According to local news reports, the Border Patrol agent fired on a vehicle after the driver tried to use the vehicle to run them over.

CBP officials would not confirm details to Border Report but said Friday that CBP’s Office of Professional Responsibility is reviewing the case and “additional information will be shared as it becomes available.”
