WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) – The White House lawn is covered with dozens of posters featuring pictures of arrested undocumented immigrants and listing the crimes they allegedly committed.
The signs list alleged crimes including, “first-degree murder,” “sexual abuse of a child,” “kidnapping and rape,” “murder,” “rape of a child,” and “distribution of fentanyl.”
“Illegal immigration is not a victimless crime,” said White House border czar Tom Homan. “Every sick person we take off the streets, especially child rapists, makes this country safer.”
Illegal crossings along the southern border have dropped more than 95% since a policy forcing immigrants to wait in Mexico went into effect.
“The Trump administration is working 24/7 to successfully arrest and deport these foreign criminals and terrorists from our country,” said White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. “We are in the beginning stages of carrying out the largest deportation campaign in American history.”
The signs are placed on the lawn where new outlets report. The White House says the signs were placed there to make sure they are caught on camera.
