Will voters approve the Socorro and Tornillo ISD tax ratification proposals? Which of the 17 proposed state constitutional amendments will be approved – or rejected – by voters across Texas?
On Tuesday, Nov. 4, El Paso voters will cast ballots in the 2025 uniform election to have their say on the state propositions.
Those who live in the Socorro or Tornillo school district boundaries will decide whether the districts can increase the property tax rate above what’s allowed by law – which would be mostly offset under the state’s proposal to increase the homestead exemption on school taxes.
