El Paso Taxpayer Revolt – ARE HENRY RIVERA AND DORA OAXACA-RIVERA FLEEING EL PASO?

Posted on February 17, 2024

Today Dora Oaxaca-Rivera, former Chair of the El Paso County Democratic Party, published a post on her social media suggesting that she and her husband, City Rep. Henry Rivera of District 7, may relocate to Dallas or Phoenix.

Of course, Rivera will need to finish his current term, which ends January 7, 2025.

Apparently Dora, who has a long history of outrageous behavior, will not be running to replace her husband on City Council as some were speculating.

Many feel she already served two terms on City Council anyway, effectively standing in for her husband for seven years in a row…

The timing of her announcement makes sense in light of the scandal that is allegedly emerging as a result of her conduct in her husband’s office.

As for City Rep. Rivera, he will not be missed by the taxpayers. His votes for tax increases, non-voter-approved debt issuances, and corporate welfare are almost as bad as Cassandra’s.

We guess it’s time for them to split.
