The wife of former City Rep. Henry Rivera, who was reprimanded in February 2024 because of his outrageous, unethical behavior while on City Council, is running for Justice of the Peace, District 5 so that she can draw a large public salary.
Dora Oaxaca has a very colorful history in the Democratic Party of making enemies everywhere and verbally assaulting anyone who dared to cross her.
It is no secret that she controlled her husband and repeatedly and inappropriately shadowed him during his two terms as City rep.

Dora’s campaign treasurer is Katheryn Lucero, YISD Trustee of District 7 and current or former (we’re not sure which) partner of Jaime Abeytia. The latter formerly ran a blog that was famous for trashing anyone who is not a progressive Democrat before it was deleted in the wake of a tidal wave of complaints.
Make no mistake about it. Dora is a menace who cannot be permitted to hold public office.
