El Paso Taxpayer Revolt – EPISD TRUSTEE DANIEL CALL BLASTS BOARD PRESIDENT HANANY FOR PUSHING TO HIRE HER EMPLOYER AS SUPERINTENDENT!

During tonight’s special meeting, EPISD Board President Leah Hanany failed in her effort to fire Superintendent Diana Sayavedra. After 20 speakers blasted her relentlessly, the Board retired into executive session and emerged more than two hours later, with Hanany declining to take action on her own agenda item!

What followed, no one expected.

In his final comment, Trustee Daniel Call revealed that Hanany pushed to hire her employer, Marlin ISD Superintendent Darryl Henson, behind closed doors during the search for a Superintendent in 2021. Hanany fired back, accusing Call of lying.

If Call’s allegations are correct, Hanany needs to resign immediately.
