Yesterday Rep. Kennedy posted about the long awaited reopening of the Dorris Van Doren Library in West El Paso, which had 103,500 books checked out during 2022, representing 28% of all books checked out in the City that year.
Jeremy Jordan, husband of Rep. Cassandra Hernandez, who is implicated in the gas card scandal and attempted to disbar the Chair of the Ethics Commission that reprimanded his wife, took a petty swipe at Kennedy with his comment beneath.
He then deleted his comment, but not before we obtained a screensheet.
Jordan seems to imply that his wife knows how to govern better than Kennedy.
Maybe it’s just us, but we don’t think Kennedy will raise our property taxes a half-dozen times, issue a half-billion in COs, or steal gasoline from the taxpayers.
