The El Paso Taxpayer Revolt proudly endorses Minerva Torres Shelton (R) for County Judge, Matt Sistrunk (R) for County Precinct 2, Annette Griego (D) for County Precinct 4, Dr. Sam Armijo for City District 1, and Arturo Alluin for City District 8.
These are the most fiscally conservative candidates in each of their races and we are convinced they will always vote for the interests of the taxpayers rather than those of our local Oligarchs.
We do not care about political affiliation in local races and neither should the public at large.
We have not made endorsements for City District 5 or City District 6 but can tell you that the incumbents Ivan Nino and Art Fierro are firmly under the control of the Oligarchs. Unfortunately, none of their opponents seem to have the qualifications, experience, or funding to mount a serious challenge.
We do not get involved in local judicial races, nor do we get involved in state or federal races.
Today is the first day of early voting and it is time to do your civic duty. Please go to the polls as soon as possible and bring your friends and family!
