El Paso Taxpayer Revolt – RENARD RAKES IN $40,500 FROM HIS FRIENDS

Mayor Renard Johnson spent over $1.5 million on his mayoral election, running on a promise to lower our property tax, fix our streets, and lure large businesses to El Paso.

If you wish to know whom Johnson truly serves, all you need to do is examine his campaign contributions.

Under item 9 of the Consent Agenda for the City Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday, we see $40,500 in fresh contributions to Johnson, mostly from developers and contractors.

Why would these individuals contribute so much money to Johnson if he has already been elected?

What do they hope to gain?
