We have attached here our latest list of the salaries of City employees.
675 are paid more than $100,000 per year plus benefits, compared to 420 only two fiscal years ago. That includes a large number of police officers and firefighters.
The two highest paid employees are City Manager Dionne Mack ($382,596) and City Attorney Karla Nieman ($358,722).
21 employees are paid between $200,000 and $299,999 per year and 50 are paid between $150,000 and $199,999 per year.
In the current fiscal year (FY 2027), the City is paying $406.8 million to 6,494 employees. In FY 2025, the City paid $382.7 million to 6,368 employees. In the last two fiscal years, there has been a 6.3% increase in payroll expenditures.
